How to Find Your Macbook Model
Option 1: Check in macOS
- Click the Apple logo at the top left of your screen
- Select About This Mac
- A window will open showing your MacBook’s model name, year, and size (e.g., MacBook Pro (13-inch, 2020))
Option 2: Check for model number
- Flip your MacBook over
- Look for a line of small text near the hinge that starts with Model Axxxx (e.g., A2338)
- Enter model number in the search bar to get your model name
